Eat Intuitively
Intuitive eating in our opinion is a much better tools for managing your diet. The feeling of fullness isn't actually anything to do with your stomach, it's a reaction in the brain to the chemicals released when you eat, which takes around 20 minutes for your brain to register. Here's how to improve your intuitiveness;
1. Eat until your 90% full
2. Drink plenty of water throughout the day but more importantly when you first think you're hungry. This is a great tool to determine whether it is actually hunger or thirst you're experiencing.
3. Learn about what you're eating by;
a) reading the back of the packets
b) noting down your daily intake
c) and reviewing how you feel 20-30 minutes after each meal
Understanding how certain foods make you feel is just the beginning, but an effective place to start.
Throughout this programme we'd also like for you to take 3 more things into account.
Minimise your sugar intake -
Eat more vegetables -
Eat leaner sources of protein -
